Ever Meulen

Ever Meulen (born Eddy Vermeulen on 12 February 1946) is a Belgian illustrator and comic strip artist. His work has appeared in ''Humo,'' the magazine for which he drew "Balthazar de Groene Steenvreter" ("Balthasar the Green Stone Eater") and "Piet Peuk" ("Pete Stub"). Since the 1980s Meulen has stopped making comic strips, but continued to draw illustrations, most notably for the columns and covers of ''Humo.'' He has made a few covers for the ''New Yorker'' and has created album covers for Telex (band).
He taught at St. Lucas Ghent, where one of his students was Jeroom.
